Almost there . . .

OK! We're almost done. A few students who did not or could not pay the $300 deposit have been removed from the participant list, but their places have been taken by others from the (rather long) waiting list. So . . .

Those of you who have been added to program list from the waiting list who have not paid your deposit must do so by November 29 or risk the same fate as those who previously did not pay the deposit. Hurry up!

There are a few more bureaucratic steps that everyone must take--and no, I don't fully understand this. Any questions should be addressed to either your campus representative or to Emily Dolezal. For GSU students, that would be Danielle Smith, whose contact info is on the right. To contact Emily, you can try e-mail, but it is best to give her a call and leave a clear message (time, name, phone number, question) at 678-797-2924. Emily is super busy, but she will get back to you. I confess I don't fully understand how this works (that's why I'm not an administrator), but apparently you must turn in a signed form (so they can do electronic signatures), then logon to the system again where you first registered and acknowledge the welcome letter. Assuming you have paid your deposit and are approved by your home institution as a student in good standing, you're in! Many of you--perhaps most of you--have already done this. For those few who haven't, get on it!

Also, if you are currently a member of the facebook group Montepulciano 2011, feel free to post observations or questions there. If you're not and you have been completely accepted into the program, then let me know and I'll add you to the group. Once the roster is complete, I'm hoping this blog and the facebook page can serve as clearinghouses for information and announcement along with the customary e-mails.

Ciao!
