Pay your deposit, please!

UPDATE: The deadline for paying deposits has been extended to November 4th. Students who have not paid the deposit by that date will be removed from the program and their place taken by someone on the waiting list.

I am informed that the KSU studioabroad system is up and running and will now securely accept the $300 deposit.  Students who have previously been provisionally accepted must now pay the deposit by October 26th (tomorrow!) or risk their place in the program.

Students who have been put on the waiting list need not pay the $300 at this time.  However, if you are contacted and offered a spot in the program, you will need to be prepared to pay the deposit.

So just go back to the site where you registered.  All students will be asked to enter their ID and password.  This is the ID and password that each student created in order to complete the application.

Non-KSU students, you do not need to worry about a KSU I.D. yet.  For now, you only need that ID and password that you created for your application.

If you still want to apply to the Montepulciano program and are willing to go on the waiting list, you should go to the registration website and go through all the steps to register except payment. Fill out and submit the "application questionnaires" but do not fill out the "material submissions" (that is, the application fee) unless and until you are contacted because a space has opened. If you are invited to come off the waiting list and into the program, then you can go back and pay the deposit. If you pay the deposit now but are not ultimately accepted into the program, it could be months before you get the deposit back.

If you have questions or problems, the first thing you should do is just call Emily Dolezal at 678-797-2924.  After that, you can try to e-mail Emily at eed4339@kennesaw.edu, but be patient.  After that, you should see your campus study abroad advisor(s). For GSU, that would be Danielle, Kimberly, or Jeff (contact info on the right). You can also e-mail the director of your session if you like—for session one that is Joe Remillard (jremilla@kennesaw.edu), for session two Todd Harper (tharper@kennesaw.edu).  They, however, by necessity can offer only limited assistance for such technical matters. You can also e-mail me (tmteeter@georgiasouthern.edu).  However, let me stress that the best way to start is with a call to Emily.

So pay your deposit or you won't pet the boar!
